Movie Review: The Human Stain R-4 Strings

this movie does yeoman's work to an extremely complex book...wicked complex. philip roth is on a literary tear right now. everything he writes is gold. lots of the themes and complexities are lost here...no surprise. the end of this movie is so out of place that its painful. but is strives so hard to tackle the tough issues--it just cant. please...read this book. its four strings because movies will never catch up to the heft of the written word.
